Good equipment. A practical purpose.

Commercial refrigeration is often retired while it still has useful life. Coolers4Good recovers that equipment, prepares it for reuse, and redirects it to food pantries that can put it to work.

Coolers4Good is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our legal name is COOLERS4GOOD INC, and our federal tax ID is 41-4499098.

How it works

  1. 1 Recover

Businesses tell us about usable commercial refrigeration leaving service.

  2. 2 Prepare

Condition, repair needs, and preparation are considered before a possible placement.

  3. 3 Place

A suitable pantry and equipment match is discussed, including site needs and logistics.

Help make the next placement possible.

Common questions

What to know before you reach out.

What information should I include?

For equipment, include the type, make/model if known, dimensions, power requirements, condition, city/state, and timing. For a pantry, describe the organization, storage need, site access, and available electrical service. If you have photos, mention that in your note; there is no photo upload on this form.

Who can request refrigeration?

Food pantries and related nonprofit food-access programs can share their needs. A request begins a conversation and does not guarantee a placement.

Is equipment automatically accepted?

No. Equipment type, condition, timing, location, and a suitable nonprofit need all matter.

Are pickup and installation included?

Pickup, delivery, installation, and any costs need to be discussed for the specific equipment and site. An inquiry does not confirm any of these services. Include city/state, timing, stairs or loading access, and electrical/site requirements before making arrangements.

Can I make a financial donation today?

Online giving is coming soon. Equipment and pantry inquiries remain welcome.

Tell us what you have or what you need.

Start with the details you know. An inquiry does not guarantee equipment acceptance or placement.
